I literally bought him a bluray player and Blow on Bluray to show it to him. When i told him he needed a bluray player to get the full benefits (cause streaming barely existed), he said no he was enjoying the HD on the tv (which it wasn't). One last none Sonos example of people like this, my old landlord/roommate years ago, when HD was new bought a brand new 65 inch tv. I think alotta people on don't realize Atmos and spatial audio aren't plug a play. Another dude said he wasn't impressed, then i found out he's watching Top Gun on bluray through his series X but didn't realize you have to download the Dolby Atmos app on Series X and activate it for it to operate🙄. When he switched to apple TV Maverick came alive. Another guy was saying the same thing about watching Top Gun Maverick on 4k bluray turns out he was watching the movie off of prime that limits audio to 5.1.
After a few questions, turns out his TV is older and doesn't have Dolby Atmos.
In the Sonos FB group one guy had said the 300's suck.
